Bridge St
I am especially fond of this pair of houses on the corner of Bridge and Lyons St - on the edge of the former Sandridge Lagoon. The shop on the right is a tailor. It is like a museum piece. The verandahs bear the Port Melbourne crest.

    These little shops with their Council verandahs have always been wonky due to being built on the former Lagoon with the resultant subsidence.

    Yes - that is very much part of their story. I think I'll get a better picture to illustrate that point.
